Association of Women in Communications

Press Release Body: Greenville, SC - At an awards dinner on May 20, 2008, Donald A.
Gardner Architects, Inc.'s marketing department was presented with the Association
for Women in Communications (AWC) Matrix Award for the Direct Mail Marketing Piece
category.

The direct mail piece - titled "Unlimited License Mailer" - was created to capture
the attention of current, past, and potential builder clientele regarding a policy
change for Donald A. Gardner house plan products. The message was printed on vellum
paper designed to look like blueprints, and was delivered to recipients in a clear
plastic tube. According to AWC judges, " .(the) packaging made it impossible to
ignore and very effective." With 27 entrants in the Greenville area submitting
their work in various categories, competition was close.
